Homeworking solutions and Covid-19

The coronavirus outbreak is a fast moving and unprecedented situation and we are experiencing exceptionally high call volumes from clients regarding advice on home working solutions to allow staff to access their full systems within a secure IT environment.

We appreciate your patience during this period and we are working hard to respond to your calls/questions as soon as possible. However, in the meantime we thought it may be useful to outline the following information regarding home working solutions:

Email:
If you do not have access to a PC with Outlook already configured but your email is hosted on Microsoft Office 365, you can access your emails online via https://outlook.office.com. Your email password should be available from your IT primary contact within your organisation.

If your email is hosted on the Digital Resolutions IMAP server you may still be able to access your email online if needed, however, you will need to contact us for further information.

Telephone:
If you use our VoIP service, you can make and receive calls from your office number via your staff’s mobile phones as if they were in the office. This avoids additional call charges being incurred.

If we do not provide your phone system you will need to contact your telephone provider.

Access to your data:
This will very much depend on your current setup.

If you are already using one of our Cloud Servers, OneDrive/SharePoint or VPN solutions, you can carry on as normal.

If you are not already using one of the above services and you currently have a support contract in place we can offer a limited free trial of our remote desktop support software. This will allow you to connect remotely to your PC and use it as though you were in the office (subject to your office PC being turned on and connected to the internet). If you would like to take advantage of this software please contact us.

Support contract clients:
We would like to assure our support contract clients that we are very well placed to continue to meet the Service Level Agreements already in place.  To assist us in dealing with any support requests please call the office number 020 8337 2600/01403 613614 and select option 1 to log a support call and we will get back to you as soon as possible.

Ad-hoc clients:
We are also very happy to offer one-off assistance and advice to existing clients, not currently covered by a support contract, and may be able to implement some of the above solutions subject to supplier availability and initial set up time constraints.  Please call the office number 020 8337 2600/01403 613614 and select option 1 to leave us a message and we will get back to you.
